The Plainview FCCLA will be hosting a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, March 12th, from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at Plainview High School Tartan Gym. American Red Cross donors care about helping patients.

“We want our donors to know how much we care about them by expanding our health offerings to include free A1C testing (commonly used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes) for all who successfully give blood, platelets or plasma. You can help save lives and empower your health!” As a thanks for a gift, donors donate on March 12th, all who complete a donation will receive a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card via email.

For more information or to make an appointment to donate, call 402-582-4991 or sign up online at redcrossblood.org or through the Red Cross App. Forty donations is the goal for the drive set by the Red Cross, which is a huge but achievable goal for the community.
