It's state tournament time for the Lady Warriors basketball team! The #1 seeded Crofton girls will travel to Devaney to take on Cross County on March 2 at 9 a.m.

The Crofton Lady Warrior basketball team played Tuesday night, Feb. 14, winning over LCC’s Lady Bears, 59-23, and moving on to the sub-district Game 4 against Ponca on Feb. 16 at Crofton High with a 7 p.m. tipoff. For more details, sign up to the Crofton Journal!

The Crofton-Bloomfield Lady Warrior-Bees finished the first Round at the State Wrestling tournament with three wins and one loss.
All the girls are still in the tournament, either wrestling yet tonight in the Quarterfinals, or tomorrow in the Consolation rounds.
Still in the Champ rounds:
125: Madisen Petersen pinned Blume of Valentine
145: Rylie Arens won with a forfeit from Crete
170: Annabelle Poppe won 3-1 over Jakubowski of O'Neill
At 155 Jaisie Janssen remains in the tournament, though she fell to Parker of Bellevue.

After Round 1 for the Class C Crofton Warrior-Bees boys' team - four have moved into the Quarterfinals with a second match tonight, and five will wrestle tomorrow in the Consolation rounds.

160: Wyatt Tramp - won 6-2 over Pistulka of West Holt
195: Tyson Sanger won 4-3 over Zlomke of Battle Creek

The 2023 Knights of Columbus Hoop Shoot was held in Crofton during the week of January 20-24 with the winners of the local contest heading to the District Contest at the end of the month.

The Crofton 6th Grade Boys competed in a Wausa Youth League on January 7th, 14th, and 21st, and a Wausa Youth Tournament on February 5th. The boys were undefeated in the Wausa Youth League.

The Crofton FCCLA chapter traveled to Wayne State College to compete in the District STAR competition on Wednesday, January 25. There were eight people representing the Crofton FCCLA chapter.
